Monty L. Hipp is the founder and co-owner of The CompleMentor, a life-action design firm with the focused intention to support leaders and their teams by focusing on personal and professional priorities that accelerate growth. As a leader with over 30 years of experience in non-profit management and leadership development, Monty has provided executive leadership for many non-profit teams across the U.S. As an innovator and creator, Monty has a unique ability to take a concept into strategy and put a big picture idea into a small frame. As a communicator who has spoken in 20 countries and 48 U.S. states on topics ranging from leadership development and youth issues to foster care reform and marriage, many connect to his ability to make the complex simple and understandable. Monty’s mission is to model a passionate pursuit of truth with excellence and creativity that inspires others towards positive life action.
Brandi C. Summers Dorsett
Brandi C. Summers Dorsett has invested in leaders for 20 years, providing insight and perspective on leadership development. Brandi holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Culture and Social Justice. She utilizes The CompleMentor model to help leaders increase impact in life and leadership.
Brandi also serves as the National Care Strategy Director for The C4 Group. She is passionate about community engagement and building cross-sector partnerships. Her background includes working for the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce, City of Bellevue, and with the faith community. She helps organizations across the nation develop a game-plan for increasing collective impact to foster positive change.
Brandi believes in investing in emerging leaders. Through her work with AmeriCorps members, Catalyst Interns, and as an Adjunct Professor she focuses on leadership development, professional goals, navigating life lessons, and determining life priorities.
Brandi’s mission is to live with a joy and intentionality that fosters positive life-choices and on-going encouragement that helps people win in life and leadership. SE Regional Director
Tray T.S. Deadwyler is leading generations through the civic engagement continuum. Affectionately nicknamed S ervice Nerd by his teammates and sector colleagues, Tray focuses on s upporting cross-sector solutions and training fellow professionals to deploy human-centered design for their interventions and programs.
Combining his 15 years of experience, expertise, and energy, Tray is a sought after civic engagement trainer, facilitator, and design consultant. H e has been a recurring speaker at the Conference on Volunteerism and Service hosted by Points of Light and The Corporation for National and Community Service State and National Symposiums. Tray’s civic transcript and consulting roster spans such organizations as the American Red Cross, Atlanta Police Department, Communities in Schools, Morehouse College, Points of Light Foundation, San Francisco Food Bank, Spelman College and the AmeriCorps*NCCC.
Moreover, Tray’s personal mission and work pushes beyond charity and altruism to develop holistic, solution-oriented approaches to today’s public issues through research, analysis and action.
Service at the heart, he volunteers his time with Angels in Distress, Love Beyond Walls and New Leaders Council-Atlanta on their Board of Directors, yet frequently pressing his way to the North Georgia Mountains for some necessary rest, camping and hiking.
NW Regional Director
Becoming a part of the Complementor and C4 team is a natural fit for Marshall, because his mission in life is to “Encourage, Equip, and Inspire People and Organizations to Greatness”. This is where Marshall feels most alive, and his truest giftings shine.
Marshall is excited to join the complementor team as the NW Regional Director, giving oversight to the work of Complementor and C4 Group in the NW region of the United States.
His career is rich in experience in developing people. In 2004, Marshall and his wife, Lesley founded Because People Matter, a humanitarian nonprofit in Portland, Oregon. BPM exists to serve the marginalized and underserved and is one of the C4 Group Care Strategy locations.
Marshall and Lesley live in Canby, Oregon. They have two grown sons, Sam and Noah.
Executive Assistant and Project Manager
Sapna is interested in individual diversity and how it interplays, impacts, and shapes communities around the word. She is especially interested in the concept of Interpersonal Intelligence and how it factors into individual relationships, personalities, human interaction, and perspectives. She remains enthralled by its power and potential to make, break, and/or shape one’s life and future.
Sapna has a Bachelors’ in Philosophy from the University of Delhi, and a Masters’ in Education from Boston College. She is originally from India and, to this day, uses cilantro in everything—yes, everything!!
Outside of work, Sapna enjoys spending time with her family, reading the occasional page-turner, cooking, and running.
Systems, Project and Contract Manager
Joining The CompleMentor and C4 team came as an exciting opportunity for Sierra after her internship with us in Spring 2017. Sierra now holds the position of our Systems, Project and Contract Manager where she works as the liaison for CompleMentor clients.
Originally from Northern California, Sierra is an outdoors and environmental enthusiast who enjoys spending her time traveling. Sierra recently graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in Environmental Policy, and plans on continuing her education.
